We had a wedding block here, and the staff was pretty supportive and efficient. There is ample parking and the lobby is nice. Can't say anything even decent about the breakfast, but it is a hotel breakfast!
The rooms are good and clean. We got a suite with hot tub, and there was certainly a piece missing from the hot tub. Other than that, we had a really nice stay at Comfort suites!
Beds were comfy, well lit. Nice proximity to Denny's. Breakfast was nice. Pool not open 24/7 .
When we arrived there was only 1 person at the desk yet the hotel was almost completely full. We had to wait while one guest complained that their room was not clean. Mind you this is at 9:30 PM, a full 6 1/2 hours after we were allowed to check in. After getting our room keys we went inside the room and it smelled. The room was not cleaned (including the bathroom) and when we went to the desk the poor woman who was left with angry guests including myself and my family said she would clean the room for us but that was not a possibility as more guests began arriving requesting their rooms. The desk person was able to find us a room that was "cleaned" and we were happy to finally be settled. After we brought up our luggage we saw a huge spider on the wall which we took care of. Later we found multiple dead flies and other spiders as well near the air conditioning unit. We didn't see the other crawling insects thanks to us having the lights off and our exhaustion from traveling. The next morning and in the light we saw several other insects crawling on the bed linens. Overall when the hotel had no vacancy and should have been staffed by more than just the one person, who I might add deserves a promotion and a raise for dealing with the insanity that evening, it was complete chaos. I will not be staying nor recommending your hotel in the future. Corporate should look into this particular establishment to revamp the entire process of cleaning rooms and handling a sold out hotel.
I’ve stayed here a couple of times when working in the area. You get excellent rooms for same price as the other local hotels. The plus is you’re going to be getting a suite not just a room. The place is very clean and have a decent breakfast with eggs, sausages waffles as well as cereal and pastries. I’ve never taken advantage of the gym or pool but use the free slow internet. They have faster options that cost extra. For things like checking emails, it’s fine. Only negative is the slow free internet.
My mom and I stayed here on 8/18/17. The room looked nice upon arrival. When it was time for bed, my mom got in her bed and there was sand in the sheets. But that's not all!!! When we lifted up the sheets...there was A DIRTY NAPKIN in them!!!!!!! The sheets were obviously not changed or cleaned. The most disgusting hotel stay I have ever had!!!!! When we checked out, the girl at the desk apologized and said she would have her general manager call me on Monday. Today is Wednesday and I still haven't received a call. Don't stay here if you like clean sheets!
