Went in for a haircut and it exceeded my expectations. Friendly welcoming staff, beautiful, professional salon. If you are new to the area and looking for a place to get your hair done, definetly give this place a try!
I had my first visit to the salon last week and what an amazing experience! Rachel was awesome- working with me on what color I like and came up with a great plan for color and highlights. I'm working on growing my hair out, which is naturally curly, Rachel did a great cut with multiple layers that really compliment the curl and the shape of my face. Love the cut, love the color and absolutely loved the entire experience! Thank you Rachel and Sue!! Looking forward to my next visit!

I wouldn't even give one star if I could. Yesterday I went there to cut my hair and the woman upfront sent a hairstylist over for me. In the middle of cutting, I realized she's new and I was sure that she had never cut hair before. She kept cutting one side for 20 minutes and she was super slow! She also kept pulling on my hair! She finally stopped cutting after her hands started shaking and I got out of my seat crying after I saw I lost all my hair on the sides! I went complaining to the supervisor and her reaction was absolutely terrible! she just calmly told me "don't worry, we won't charge you." REALLY? You think I'm worried about money? They ruined my hair and I'm embarrassed to get out of the house! She also said the girl cut hair once before and it was ok and she also said that I had to mention I need a professional to cut my hair. People obviously go to salons so a professional cut their hair, not a random person who has no experience! I don't know why she thought I was clueless and wouldn't notice they ruin my hair. Why did she choose to let that girl cut my hair?! These people should not run a business because they don't know how to work or treat people!
Both my daughter and I are clients of Amy Warne at Acacia Aveda Salon. We have always had a great experience. The front desk staff is professional and courteous. Our stylist, Amy, is knowledgeable and always does a fabulous job. She stays up to date with current color and style trends and does beautiful work. We adore her! The salon is well designed, tastefully decorated and smells WONDERFUL due to all the Aveda products. Going to Acacia is a fun, relaxing experience. Their services are pricey but we feel the service is worth it!
