I didn’t even get seen at the salon and the people were rude I asked them how long for a refill and they flat out told me no one can do it right now because everyone’s busy but to come back after five... I probably will never even go back just to get service so yeah they’re pretty rude
I am a licensed beautician and this is my take. The salon is somewhat clean and seemed to attempt on sanitation practices with their pedicure. They opened fresh steralized metal tools which was good but they were gonna use an old nail file that was not even cleaned off fiirst could still see the old nail dust on. They did however chamge it out when i asked. All an all the pedicure was decent, did not like the feel of a bag in the pedicure bowl though i understand the reasoning for it with their set up. Looking at the price list and the credentials throughout i noticw they arw offering services that they are not licensed to perform. Therefor i believe they will be reported for that since they are trying to use massages as an upcharge. Nail techs are only trained and licensed to massage from the knee down. All and all this place is fine to attend in a bind but please be aware of what they are doing and offer. Prices are within normal range for services in this field.
honestly, that one star is already too high of a rating. they're service is AWFUL! i walk in there feeling intimidated and verbally attacked, especially when I request a specific service and they recommend another one. it's not a recommendation, it's a demand. they don't give you an approproximate of what service they recommend costs, however they go right on a head and begin anyways. honestly unless you want to sit there arguing with them about your nails, you are getting a service you never requested. their prices are too high considering they do a crappy job and have an awful attitude before and after. im shocked they still receive business given that they're rated awful and provide even worse service. If you want to feel welcomed and comfortable DEFINITELY do not recommend.
This business doesn’t even deserve a 1 star of how TERRIBLE they were, but unfortunately that’s the lowest I can go. I normally do not go to them but I decided to give them a try since they were so close to my job. Went to get a fill and replace my index finger and as soon as I sat down the worker said “ugh what do you have on your hands?!” Kept commenting on how “manly” my hands looked because of the last nail salon I went too “didn’t do a good job” and how she was going to make them look better which actually was a lie. I HATE my nails! They are sloppy! I asked for rounded nails and they are all different sizes and shapes. I picked a color and she told me “no that’s ugly do this one” and picked out the color rushes putting the color and within an hour my gel nail polish was peeling off. Called and she told me to come back and pick another color she did change the color but again rushed and they are sloppy once again. Told her that one nail was too thick and she sand the spot that was too thick and painted over it so my nail is uneven. I was so upset I couldn’t wait to get out of there. When I was walking out she said “I better not see you again” Within it 3 days the nail she replaced fell off! Called again and she told me to come in. Went in the store and I asked her how long would it take? And she said me why I ask and I told her calmly that this was my third time on my lunch break to come in and get a set of nails corrected which should only take one time if you’re “soooo good” like you kept saying you were. As myself I work in customer service so I knew if I went in with an attitude I wasnt going to get anywhere especially after all the comments so when i went in regardless of how upset I was I simply explained to her how unhappy I was that it is taking so many attempts to get them correct and she asked “if you are unhappy what would you like me to do?” I asked for a refund. When I said the word “refund” she completely lost it! Completely making a scene in her place of business in front of her workers and customers. I asked to speak with the manager and she said she was the manager and I was completely shocked at the way she was speaking with me. Explained to her how I do not understand how she was upset at the work she did. If anyone should be upset it should be me since I spent my money and it took this many attempts to try to get it fixed. Before I made went down to the MANAGER of the business level I walked out.
Very rude workers I will never ever ever go there again. So unfriendly couldn't wait to Leave! This place doesn't even deserve a one star! 0 is more like it! Terrible pedicure too!
I will NEVER EVER step foot in this place of “business”. I do not recommend this place. I spent time and money to get treated like completely garbage. I totally regret not waiting and not going to Fashion Nails in the oakdale mall where I normally go. Just terrible. My review doesn’t stop here I will be reporting this business to the business bureau.
