I've been a member of Planet Fitness Vestal for about eight months, all in all i'm very happy with the club. For $10 a month and a one time service fee of $35 it's an excellent value. It's open 24/7, clean, well lit and just simply a nice place to work out.

The biggest plus here is that they don't pester you, they're not trying to up-sell or market "health" products, or sign you up for "classes". You come in, swipe your card and do your thing. The selection of equipment is excellent and there is always something available to work out on even if it's crowded.
They only have smith machines, so you guys that are intent on only using Olympic benches and racked squats won't like it. Otherwise excellent. :) They also do not allow deadlifts
The only negative i've encountered, as others have mentioned is that they don't have a scale, it was explained to me that a scale would be counter to their "No Judgement Zone" philosophy. So i use my own scale at home.
The staff is friendly, helpful and always willing to advise on training and workout techniques.
Great gym fitting for any demographic.
This is the first gym membership I've ever had. I have the black card which works out great for me with the unlimited tanning that is included and being able to go to any other PF location. Almost every time I come in there is a staff member cleaning and the gym is very well taken care of. I've never seen an out of order machine in this gym, where as Ithaca has had many.
This place sucks I've been going here for more than a month and this time all of a sudden since I'm not 18 I can't go there. Terrible Horrible Customer Service
The place and equipment are OK. Manager is not good, they charged me several times in a month.
