Wasn't very good. Wouldn't return. Nothing to be proud of here, no effort made to make it so. Could be a great place if they were like diners use to be. For instance, daily specials, breakfast specials. Soup or salad with dinner. What happened to some bread while you wait for the mediocre food. Would take little to make the place look way better, make it look and feel like an old fashion diner. The server was nice.
This is THE diner to go to in Broome county. If not the best then top 3 at least. Most breakfast served all day, pancakes, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches. All very, very good. There's a great range of dinner options, sandwiches, wraps, entrees. Something for everyone. It's all delicious, inexpensive, and comes with great service too.
The food was great. Good price. The servers on the other hand were very rude. They made snide and crude comments about my fiance and they made sure to not be quiet about it. In all it was the worst dining experience of my life. I really hope my phone call to the mgr. Doesn't go ignored, and the people involved are reprimanded. This kind of behavior has no business being in the workplace around customers. I sincerely hope the mgr or owner of this establishment understands that this is not right. I may be just one customer and losing my business may not seem a big deal. But word of mouth is an incredible tool. This could turn into something alot bigger if left untreated.
Very good food at reasonable prices. Wide selection and great waitresses. Definitely worth the stop. We go there often.
Best food in town at a great price and home like atmosphere. I have been going to skylark dinner for so long and have never had a bad meal. The servers really make you feel like your in your mothers kitchen having dinner.
